Love this random collaboration, all for the sake of getting some Bape Camo on an Optimus Prime toy, that must be the reason surely. And to be honest it's genius, instantly creating what must be a real collectors item. Despite BAPE's sale and takeover and general winding down in popularity over other brands Nigo has been working with, along with the change in Japanese street fashion this collaboration is pretty cool and shows that people still want to collaborate with the brand. It's not dead... yet.
Like i said Bape has been showing signs of loss in popularity for a while now. I mean popularity in Japan went down right after it branched out to the USA and there are plenty of high end streetwear brands in Japan waiting in the wings that don't have a reputation for seemingly inflicting all over camo hoodies on the world.
