This morning we received some preview samples of Kidrobot's, Dunny 2011 series (blogged).  This series has been much hyped and so far very well received. It has a great line up of artists and some amazing designs. I love that Kidrobot has produced so many different head sculpts and accessories for this series, it really does make it stand out as an example of what can be achieved.

Previous Dunny series have suffered from problems with the printing and the quality of the vinyl, but this series series (on the whole) suffers from none of these pitfalls. The stand out design for me is Mad's Zombie Biker. Amazing design, amazing sculpt and perfect printing. I would like to see this as 20"!! Another nice addition (or very clever marketing idea) are the secret mystery parts that add up to create a glow in the dark Kronk dunny - very kinder -egg-esque.

Fans and new collectors alike will not be disappointed by this series, it makes me want to grab the rest..

Series Released tomorrow 23rd of June www.kidrobot.com

I also love to see Elphonso Lam included, i have the vinyl version of his design (rock star circa 2004) which i love, so its nice to see him recreate this on a Dunny form.

I have a spare right foot and two ears if anyone gets a spare head and left food they need to trade ;)
