Seems that everyone needs a USB stick and designer USB's are all the trend. This time Toy2r jump on board and create this Qee Flash Drive with Choicee. Pricing and Memory capacity are to be determined, but this new design was showcased at Asia's biggest electronic event, Computex (Taipe International Computer Show).
It doesn't really look like a USB connection to me, but maybe its subject to final design or is a flash card not a USB drive? Either way its a nice way to conceal your drive, and certainly a novelty piece. I know Toy2r started to move their form away from the 'designer toy scene' a long time ago, and this defiantly falls more into the consumer market. I wonder if this will further alienate the old collectors and hard core art toy fans, or if they will simply embrace it as the form being used for another outlet. It looks like this is produced in ABS and so I'd expect not very durable, I'm sure I'd snap those arms really fast after i had thrown it in my bag a few times.
Practical it may not be, but cute it damn well is!
