
Claudio Sanchez (founder of Evil Ink Comics, creator of The Amory Wars and Kill Audio, as well as frontman for rock band Coheed and Cambira) has some big announcements lined up for this years SDCC. First up is the announcement of a brand new mini-series "Key of Z!" co-written by Claudio and his wife Chondra. This story follows Ewing-- a once proud father and holder of a special gift-- across a post-zombie-apocalyptic New York City as he seeks revenge on the two warring gangs who murdered his family. Releasing in October, and published by BOOM! studios, interior art is produced by The Amory Wars' Aaron Kuder and cover art will be by Nathan Fox.
To celebrate this release Evil ink will be holding a contest where you can be an extra in Key of Z! Winners will be drawn from entries at SDCC. Also available will be this Nathan Fox SDCC exclusive lithograph (available at the EIC booth #1031) Limited to 250 they will be signed and numbered.
Also announcing at SDCC 2011 is The Amory Wars iPad / iPhone game, which will be available later this year. Concept art from the game will be on display at the EIC booth (#1031).
Claudio and Chondra will be available for signings at the EIC booth at 3pm on Thursday, 4pm Friday and Saturday and 1pm on Sunday.
