Merrci burst onto the Nice Paper Toy scene like a bat outta hell. Building everything he could get his hands onto. Just as impressive as his collection was the way he photographed his builds, using stylish backgrounds that both contrasted and complimented his toys. Next were a few choice customs of some very cool toys by 3 eyed bear and Shin Tanaka.

And then to make sure everyone realized how serious he was about the paper scene, he created his own. Entitled, "I'm So Frustrated My Tattoos Disappeared Under My Cast," Merrci semi-autobiagrphical toy does away with the baby steps and training wheels and goes straight into awesome. It's a toy filled with emotion with emotion, movement and style. All from a static piece of paper.
