OK so it's not THAT John Woo, but he is as equally talented as the movie director. Just spotted these prints being highlighted over on Freshnessmag and I just had to put em on the blog. The 'He Wears It' series features paintings of popular characters (mainly) from the Star Wars and Batman universes and dresses them in designer clothing. Highlights include Joker wearing Junya Watanabe, Catwoman in Rick Owens, Jango Fett in Comme de Garcons and Boba Fett in Supreme/Visvim.

Awesome 13x19" prints featuring beautifully painted versions of the characters, in most cases capturing them perfectly. Other notable characters taken on in the series include various Star Wars Troopers, Queen Amidala, Vader, Tuscan Raider, T-1000, Forrest Gump, Edward Scissorhands and more but the ones i highlighted above are the real winners for me and an order may be placed before end of day today!

SHIT - oh well looks like Joker sold out while i was posting this and deciding whether i wanted to pick up more than one. just my luck - don't sleep if you want one of these bad boys!
