SKINNER, one of our favorite artists, is on the verge of releasing Every Man Is My Enemy, his first hardcover art monograph published by Ginko Press. If you're in the Bay Area, ZeroFriends will be hosting a book release part at their store in Oakland. Follow this story for details:
From Ginko's website:
Influenced by 80s pop culture, human struggle, myths and violence, dungeons and dragons, and the heavy metal gods, Skinner's mind is one full of mayhem fueled by a calculated chaos. His work has been shown all over the universe - at places like the Museum of Graphic Design in Breta, Netherlands, the illustrative festival in Berlin, German, Japan, France and the states from LA to New York and everywhere in between.
Every Man Is My Enemy is 172 pages with 250 color illustrations & photos, plus writing by the artists. I've seen it - it's amazing.
Meet Skinner at the ZeroFriends store in Oakland on Saturday, February 4th from 2 to 4 pm: 489A 25th Street, Oakland, CA. See you there!
