For those that dwell in New York City, it is not an odd occurance to pass by spraypaint scrawls upon walls, the graffiti remnants of a previous nights work for some tagger. And, sometimes, this street art takes the form of a fat cat's paw with three claws, the iconic logo of Claw Money. Also known as fashion designer Claudia Gold, Claw Money's destinctive mark has been haunting the City for nearly three decades now; she's a true pioneer of street art, one of the first women associated with the normally male dominated field.

To celebrate her lengthy impact on the art community, ToTT Global has arranged to release a special set of poker chips, each emblazzoned with a specially designed Claw Money tag by the artist herself. The packs of 50 chips come in a pop-top plastic container, that is likewise marked with the cat paw, and packaged with a "Dr. Claw Money" directions sheet… those instructions being the relatively direct "Know when to fold 'em, know when to hold 'em" along with "Mo' money, mo' problems." This limited edition item is currently available for pre-order at the price of $19.98 per set. But, should you require something even more special, then 1xRUN has you covered…

The above "Liquor In The Front, Poker In The Rear" screenprint is limited to only 40 copies. Made with two passes of color, black and gray, on pristine white paper, these 11.75" x 12.75" signed and numbered beauties by Claw Money are a steal at only $50. Oh, did we forget to mention that each print also comes with a set of the poker chips? Well, it does. And this print is available now. But wait, there's more.

To fully kick-off these monumental releases, Kidrobot New York will be hosting a signing tonight, March 15th, from 6PM to 8PM. Not only will there be copies of the poker chips at this event, but an exclusive special purple colorway of the screenprint will available. And for those in the party mood, there will also be an after party at The Summit Bar from 10PM to 2AM. If you end up going, do me a favor and buy the lady a drink… she deserves it for all she's done.
