Over the last few days, Amanda Visell has posted a couple images of hand-carved and painted wooden Star Wars figures on her blog, showing off large, work-in-progress recreations of Darth Vader and a Stormtrooper. As SpankyStokes points out, these follow a similarly-designed Boba Fett wooden figure she teased back in January.

It's unclear what these are being created for, but these recreations deftly blend her inimitable style with the original designs, and we're looking forward to seeing what they're being created for down the line. She teased today that the next could be a Jawa, so we'll be keeping an eye out on her blog for potential future additions to the set.

We just got two wooden toys in our inbox. One's a cute bird and one's a turd. No, really, it's a stackable, customizable wooden toy shaped like a poo. Bai, the bid, comes in two sizes and comes in a cloth bag with sprinkles for customization.

I can abide by these Jawas! Tatooine's little hoodlums have been turned into Flatties by Flat Bonnie and will be available at NYCC, courtesy of DKE Toys. The 12 inch tall plushies are handmade and come with the Jawas' signature attire.
