Phil & Adam Flatties have been working hard on their Heavy Metal Qee for the Heavy Metal Qee show. The HMQ Show is a group of UK based artists and designers who were asked to create their own interpretation of "Heavy Metal" using the 8" Qee platform. As of right now there will be 30 different artists, and 30 different Rockin Qees! But the Flatties are taking the term Heavy Metal a bit literal. They've created their Qee out of solid aluminum.

Check out some of the work in progress shots!

A date for the show has not yet been announced, but I'll keep ya posted.

I think Dethrace must be distant cousins of GWAR because not only do they look similar, they are often seen together playing music or hanging out drinking beer. While they may look like family, Dethrace really have an image and sound that is their own.
