Cris Rose, the man behind the popular resin cast Sprog platform, is trying something a little different: a "blind boxed" Sprog series. Entitled "Steel BlueBird Sprogs," off of the blue coloration that all the painted figures share, this set will consist of 26 Sprogs that will randomly be shipped to buyers (they aren't actually boxed, just shipped out randomly). In the series will be five copies each of: Rankin (Observation Drone MkIV), Reason (Lab assistant bot), Rigel (Maintenance bot), Rollo (Postal bot), and a fifth as-yet-unnamed Sprog as well as a single chase variant of Raymond. No word on price per 2.5" to 3" tall piece, but these brilliant bots will be released into Rose's online store on April 19th.
