Liking the look of this first proper trailer for the movie 'Looper' coming out later in the year. Starring the exceedingly likable Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a hitman, a 'looper' who assasinates people sent back in time from the future.

The concept being that time travel has been invented 30 years in the future, but it's illegal and only available on the black market. when crime bosses and gangs want to get rid of someone, they send their target back 30 years into the past for a 'looper' to clean up the situation for them. Gordon-Levitt is living the dream, making a ton of money to live the good life that all Loopers do until one the mob in the future decide to "close the loop" seing back Joe's future self (played by Bruce Willis) to be assassinated.

Looks like an interesting concept for sure and Joseph Gordon-Levitt has fast become one of the most stylish, relavent and most sought after actors out there, along with the likes of Ryan Gosling. Fingers crossed for him that he doesn't quite turn into Bruce Willis in 30 years time, but this movie looks like it's hitting all the right notes so far, without revealing too much of the plot. Fingers crossed we'll get some more indication of that when the next trailer hits!

Looper is written and directed by Rian Johnson who also wrote and directed "Brick" a modern noir classic that pretty much gave Joseph Gordon-Levitt his first first major role since being a child actor on Third Rock from the Sun. Was a massive break for all involved in that movie and i highly recommend that you check it out!
