This will sound wildly negative, but it seems the Kidrobot Black label is finally going to produce something worthy of a high end toy label.

The latest teaser from Kidrobot shows the profile of a new figure along with the words 'American Depress' and Ron English's signature. This is of course hinting at being a production of the classic artwork of Mickey Mouse pinned in a mousetrap made from an 'American Express' Card.

Looks like it's been simplified a bit and the pose exaggerated nicely for toy production. As you can see the belly meets the chin aswell as covers the legs so the feet merely protrude out the bottom. Fingers crossed this doesn't mess with it too much and it is still a recognisable Ron English piece. The main question comes down to how 'Black' is it. I really hope they haven't kept it too black. I've always liked the idea of the Black label but for me it has never really produced a must have for me. This could be it!

Release appear to be set for May 29th, so keep an eye out for more teasers soon!
