Coming up this Saturday is the Welling Court Murals Project. Now in it's third consecutive year, the project created by the community that hosts the event alongside Ad Hoc Art-- is one of the largest and friendliest beautification projects in New York City.

The project, from it's humble beginnings, continues to bring over 50 artists per year from all over the world for a day of music, art and general communal outreach. This year, the celebration coincides with the community's block party-- so food will also be a prevalent guest at the event. If you plan on attending, people are encouraged to bring food items, drinks and/or paint supplies to donate toward the celebration. This event, which really is becoming the culmination of street art and graffiti, is built on volunteers and donations-- so go out and celebrate! Snap photos! Be merry amongst strangers and make new friends!

Everybody loves shiny stuff, and now you can customize your platform toys with shiny paint from Montana. In my own experience, Montana has the best range of colors and best application of all the spray brands I've tried.
