Japanese artist Hirotoshi Itoh has a way with river rocks. They're just every day river rocks, like the kind you cut your feet on in the lake last summer, but he has a way to make them look like anything but rocks. Hirotoshi likes to leave some of the natural texture so we get an idea of what we're dealing with. Don't eat that ice cream!

The next set of photos look like the freaky rocks they really are. The rock with the grin is creeping me out a little.

Hirotoshi has some skills!

You can find more information and more photos on Hirotoshi's website
