Just a heads-up that the release party for the first series of Shawnimals + myplasticheart + Squibble Ink's vinyl Pocket Pork Dumplings will take place tomorrow -- Friday, July 6 -- at myplasticheart's New York City store (210 Forsyth St.) from 6-9pm. Shawn Smith from Shawnimals and Joe Somers from Squibbles Ink will both be on-hand to celebrate the early launch of the blind box series, which otherwise goes on sale through normal channels on July 11.

The first 25 people in line will be rewarded with a goodie bag, while the event promises fortune cookies with prizes inside, a pork dumpling doodle contest, prizes, refreshments, and more. Each individual blind box is priced at $6.50, while a 16-piece case sells for $104.
