The psychedelic cartoonist Oliver Hibert is curating an exhibition of artists who tend towards the bold and brightly colored side of painting, to be shown under the banner of "Vivid Visions" at the Compound Gallery in Portland, OR. Showcasing the talents of Buff Monster (whose work â in collaboration with Hibert â is shown above and below), Grant Wiggins, Martin Ontiveros, Pinky, Arbito, Spencer Hibert and Oliver Hibert himself, the "Vivid Visions" event opens on August 2nd and runs through September 2nd.
