If your idea of enlightenment is a big belly filled with treats, then Kidrobot may have something for you. Launching on September 6 is the Homer Buddha seven-inch vinyl sculpture, which depicts the iconic The Simpsons character in an amusingly Zen-like state.

"Long ears signify past wealth, a big head represents the disconnection between mind and body, a tuft of hair symbolizes great inner wisdom, and a giant fried dough topped with pink frosting and rainbow jimmies equals deliciousness," reads the Kidrobot blog post. "With a pretzel in one hand, and beads in another, Homer passes down the oral tradition of donut eating."

Inspired by The Simpsons episode "Goo Gai Pan," in which Homer apparently tries to fake his way into a Chinese orphanage by mimicking Buddha, the 7-inch vinyl release will be sold for $50.
