Munky King's final art exhibition, "Memories Are Made Of This," will open on August 18th with a reception from 4-8PM and be available for viewing until August 25th, 2012. Curated by Super Cooper Berella, this occasion marks his 13th Birthday as well as closing of the Melrose gallery (7308 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90046); to celebrate these two momentous occasions, there will be refreshments, live music and live painting on-hand for all to enjoy. A portion of all proceeds will benefit CHIME Preschool Inclusion Program and the Los Angeles Children's Hospital 4W Supportive Care Committee. Pictured below are contributions to this childhood memories themed show by: Luke Chueh (who also did the postcard art), Mikie Graham, Lou Pimentel and Ryan the Wheelbarrow.
