Last night, Chicago's own OhNo!Doom art gallery and collective launched Adventure Time! A Tribute Show, which collected pieces from more than 40 artists inspired by the blazingly creative hit Cartoon Network animated series. Running through August 30, the show features a wide array of creations, spanning plush, paintings, embrodery, sculptures, and much more.
Artists like Shawnimal, Lana Crooks, Mike Budai, Steff Bomb, Dave Palumbo, and Pock-It Palz contributed pieces to the diverse show, which drew folks out to the Bucktown gallery last night for the opening show. Many of the artists were on hand for the debut, though if you couldn't make it, you still have about two and a half weeks to visit OhNo!Doom and scope out the sights -- or simply browse the pieces on the gallery's website, where most are still available for purchase. For a tease of what to expect, scope out our photos below from yesterday's opening.
OhNo!Doom is located at 1800 N Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago, and its regular hours are Thursday and Friday from 5-10pm and Saturday from 12-7pm, though it wil be open from 12-7pm on the final day of the show, Thursday, August 30.
