Loving this Porsche 911 inspired bicycle produced as part of The Next Design Challenge. The challenge tasks leading designers with creating an object (smaller than a living room - larger than a wallet) inspired by the Porsche 911.
The bicycle was designed by David Schultz, Senior Lead Designer at Microsoft who decided to design this classic looking urban commuter described as 'fast, lightweight, simple, tough and timeless' - it's a beatiful object and certainly a potential timeless classic, just like the 911. I'm also loving the Gulf colorscheme.
Shockingly the bike didn't actually win the competition - that honor went to a hairdryer that makes the sound of a Porsche or some shit. Looks like an exhaust pipe too. Cool, but no thanks
