These bright, vibrant & creepy stills are from Frederico Solmi's film "Chinese Democracy and the Last Day on Earth". The film, a mixture of hand drawn animation & 3D video gaming engines, is currently showing at LA's Luis De Jesus through 10/20. The film is the second part of a trilogy and the first chapter "A Song of Tyranny," will be featured in Gallery 2 at Luis De Jesus while"Chinese Democracy and the Last Day on Earth" shows in Gallery 1.
Luis De Jesus describes "Chinese Democracy and the Last Day on Earth" as a "satirical commentary on repressive behavior and authoritarian power structures, as well as misguided ethical and moral values."
"Chinese Democracy and the Last Day on Earth" will be showing at Luis De Jesus in LA through 10/20.
