On Friday, October 12th, 2012, after the Javits Center closes the doors on the New York Comic-Con for the evening, make sure you head on over to myplasticheart (210 Forsyth St., Lower East Side, New York City) for a treat like no other: "A Postcard from New Yorkshire," a solo show of entirely new works by Doktor A. Showcasing a wide variety of steampunk stylized sculptures, we're promised that Dok A has been "pushing boundaries and showcasing newly acquired skills" in the pieces for this exhibition. With an opening reception from 7-10PM, the good Doktor himself will be in atendance for his first visit to NYC. The show itself will remain on display until November 11, 2012.
