Comic icon R.Crumb has assembled what he believes to be his finest work into a six volume set, a collection that includes 600 late period drawings which have not been published in previous sketchbook collections. This is exciting because Crumb's work is still in demand while his output has slowed down quite a bit, and this collection (volumes 7-12) highlights the second half of his career. Volumes 7-12 span the period 1982-2011, and they are edited by R.Crumb himself. This set is not light by any means - each volume is over 244 pages. That's a lot of Crumb.

'R.Crumb Sketchbooks Volumes 7-12' is limited to 1000 copies and includes a hand written introduction by Robert Crumb. Also included is a signed color art print of Crumb's original "The Little Guy That Lives Inside My Brain". The 6 volume boxed-set can be purchased from Taschen for $1,000. This is a must-have for Crumb fans or enthusiasts of the underground comix movement.
