Scott Summitt is one of the world's leading 3D printing and design experts as well as passionate guitarist. He has managed to combine these two totally different fields by creating a 3D model of his ideal guitar. After creating the 3D model on his laptop, Scott sent the computer design to 3D Systems which transformed the graphic model into an acoustic guitar. Scott says "It's rich and full and has great tonal range."
The model used approximately $3,000 worth of plastic. Looks good!
