"Zemis" is the latest resin sculpts by brothers Tony "Titanium" and Christian "Xian" Montalvo aka "Alpha Godz". The Zemis sculpts made their debut at Alpha Godz Entertainment's booth during last week's NYCC. Here's the Zemis back story. 

"Zemis come fro Taino legend. They can represent either a deity or the spirit of an ancestor. Typically the sculpture, which can be carved of various materials like bone, wood, shell or stone, can also contain that spirit which it is meant to depict. While Taino deities are recognized by their individual names, Zemis are lesser divinities that can control natural forces. They are recognized as beings with supernatural and magic powers, consulted for wisdom and healing by those regarded as medicine people. Zemis are relative to the Greater Antilles: Dominican Republic, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and other Carribean Islands." 

The Zemis are hand sculpted, cast in resin, and are available in a wide variety of colors. Custom paint jobs are also available. 

Alpha Godz' ''The Sentinels" and "Titanium robots of the silver centurion Ironman" were also at the A.G.E. Studios booth.
