Venice Beach typographer Eric Waetzig wanted a unique, new plank, so he made one. Eric hand shaped and burn engraved "Thrash Venice" into the custom coffin shaped board. He also inlayed two pennies in the top of the board just above the trucks. Arbor Collective pitched in and supplied the wheels and trucks.
Waetzig founded the indie apparel brand Rukru and considers himself a designer and illustrator as well as a typographer. You can see more of Eric Waetzig's designs and typography on his Me and Gonzo website.
