Brooklyn's own  MF Gallery has a very interesting show coming up in February. Frank Russo, Twerps! (Greg MIshka), Scarecrowoven, Lamour Supreme & The Death Head will not only be showing their framed art work but each one will be painting a mural on the walls of MF Gallery. MF's press release says "What these five artists have in common is that they are all inspired by 1980s pop culture, toys, skateboarding, heavy metal, horror movies and cartoon colors."  I think that description works for a lot of us. The opening party/live painting performance will be Saturday, February 16th from 7 - 10 PM. After that, the show can be seen by appointment until April 7th. Contact the MF Gallery for viewing appointments.
