Tenacious Toys has started a new weekly calendar release of micro-run toys called Super Series Sundays. Every Sunday night Tenacious Toys will drop a new, exclusive resin or custom figure. Nice! Kicking off the Super Series Sundays is DuBose Art's Species: 246 resin figure. Standing at 3" this little guy was cast in Monster Kolor dyed resin. Jonathan DuBose used Monster Kolor Seashore Blue on Species: 246 and airbrushed him with various shades of C-Thru Monster Kolor paint with a clear coat on top. Species: 246 is limited to 10 pieces and arrives signed and numbered in a "fancy black box". Retailing for $35, Species: 246 will be available 2/17 at 10PM EST on Tenacious Toy's Super Sunday Series page

Recently discovered Species: 246 is a nocturnal reptile-like creature. With the aid of his large eyes and 2 mouths, Species: 246 is an apt night hunter with a ferocious little appetite. They can only be found in the most dense and humid regions of the Amazon Rain Forest. Species: 246, aka "Ben" because of his cute and almost benign appearance. Don't let the big eyes fool you...when he bites, he bites twice.

Next artist up for Super Series Sundays is Scott Kinnebrew with Kyle Kirwan, Fuller and TaskOne all slated for inclusion.
