I just stumbled upon some stellar space-inspired fashion from Shadowplaynyc! The company was created by two space-crazed Parsons graduates and started out as a passion project for founders Ali Bennaim and Ximena Chouza. Shadowplaynyc brings the marvels of the universe to hand-crafted, carefully designed garments. 
"All of our pieces are handmade in New York, and our supplies are sourced locally. We have designed most of our garments to use up almost every inch of fabric, never cutting into these beautiful prints, and leaving next to nothing for the landfill." -Ali Bennaim and Ximena Chouza
The current offerings on Shadowplaynyc's online sore include a variety of tees, tights, dresses, skirts, scarves and bags. Although all of their items share a galaxy theme, they are quite unique in their own way. See below.
