Paul Budnitz, the founder of Kidrobot and one of the first people to bring Designer Toys to America, is teaching an online class about the art form. Entitled "Beautiful Plastic: How to Create a Great Designer Toy," the co-creator of the Dunny and Munnyworld figures not only teaches the history of the field (starting in 1998) but also lends insights on what makes for a great Designer Toy and tips on sketching/designer your own figure! Costing only $20 for the class, anyone passionate about Designer Toys â especially those interested in creating their own â will gain invaluable knowledge by signing up HERE.
