This year's Art Without Borders has expanded its vision. Whereas last year's event had the participating artists customize a Munny or a Dunny, this year's show will, in addition to customs of those iconic platforms, feature paper, resin, and plush toys. Three of the more colorful members of the paper toy community have been asked to join in the 50 plus artist roster. Merrci, Nick Knite, and Vinsart will be sending one of a kind, pre-built paper models of their toys for auction. Art Without Borders supports the charity Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières).

The opening will be held at Art Whino's new South West DC spot, Blind Whino, on Saturday March 22, from 8 - 11 pm. The event will feature two DJs and is free to attend, however, you need to RSVP.

Blind Whino is located at 734 1st St SW Washington, DC 22024. After the opening reception, the show will move to the Art Whino Gallery at 120 American Way National Harbor, MD  20745 and will run through April 22, 2014.
