Brooklyn-based artist & designer Chris Uphues, known for his painting & drawing compositions of hearts, stars, flowers, shapes, and cartoon-like faces, draws inspiration from a range of popular references, from contemporary artists to classic comics. In celebration of Mother's Day, Uphues will exhibiting a special collection of works at PIQ — found in the Grand Central Terminal (Shuttle Passage, 89 E. 42nd St., New York, NY 10017) — as well as releasing a limited edition print series, chalk-ware figurines in assorted colors, and unique "Heart-style" Mother's Day greeting cards. With the artist conducting signings for the two day event, the art pieces will range in price from $5 to $60.

    P!Q took the short hike from Grand Central to the Javits and brought a bunch of custom Labbits. The gift shop put together a group show focusing on sweets and Kidrobot's newest blank platform toy.
