Japanese giant robot designs seem to lend themselves well towards sneakers. But while anime publishers are happy to churn out mugs, keychains, and mousepads with their mechas on them, they rarely seem to license anything to sneaker companies. That's going to change this summer when Reebok releases these two Gundam sneakers as part of their Insta Pump 20th Anniversary. And thankfully they didn't take the attitude of "let's just use the color pallets and call it a day". These are some detailed designs with clear nods to the Federation and Zeon mobile suits. The pumps, the embroidery, the heel logo, and even the damn inserts are accurately taken straight from the Gundam U.C. universe.

One of the perks of DCON is that, being in California, it's easier to pick up Japanese designer toys there. While we haven't heard from Itokin Park, we can confirm that Konatsu will have two toys available via Q POP's booth.

Ah, such soothing colors. This might be my favorite Uamou series since the Tengu and Cobalt series, which had an amazing matte finish. These ones, though, feature calming gradients painted by legendary airbrush artist, Goto-san.
