Jason Freeny's latest production, made out of clay and epoxy, may look like the posed skeletal remains of Japan's most revered historic figure. But upon closer look, the hand sculpted tubing outlines Hello Kitty's circulatory system. The only objects with prominent mass on the piece are the heart and the bow, hinting at the biological concept of the sculpture and making clear the kawaii subject matter.
