As part of the Complex Summer Vacation, which places emphasis on artists experiencing creating art outside of the studio, Viennese visual artist David Mascha was influenced by the architecture of an abandoned brewery in East Berlin. With the aide of the Adobe Creative Cloud, Mascha recreated the building as a minimalist, stylized vector image which — after being printed on a canvas — was backlit to give an unreal air to it. To view part of his process, inspiration, and the completed work, please visit Complex's page where there is a video unveiling the piece to the world.
