The Shining Overlook Uamou

What lies within room 237 at the Overlook Hotel? Maybe this new version of Uamou, released by Delayed Brain. The cardboard pattern matches the set's carpet in Kubrick's confession of faking the Apollo 11 moon landing The Shining. The design comes in two variations: one standard Uamou and one keychain version. I love how subtle the refernece is, yet it's instantly recocognizable to film nerds and consipiracy theorists. If you're into the conspiracy theories surrounding The Shining, the interpretations of Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut will blow your mind. Check it out.

DCON is coming up quick, so the exclusives are starting to be revealed. You've probably seen Ayako Takagi's sugar skull Uamous before, but these ones are hand painted.

Ah, such soothing colors. This might be my favorite Uamou series since the Tengu and Cobalt series, which had an amazing matte finish. These ones, though, feature calming gradients painted by legendary airbrush artist, Goto-san.
