Toy Tokyo teamed up with MINDstyle and Ron English to create a pretty interesting booth at this year's New York Toy Fair. Several pieces from Ron were on display, including an approximately 8 foot tall Liberty Grin, Buddha Grins, and more. The main focus of the booth was MINDstyle's kaiju-inspired take on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which utilized a realistic but unsettling sculpting aesthetic and heaps of saturated, metallic air brush applications. Each figure stood about 3 or 4 feet tall. It's not clear if this is an independent project by MINDstyle or if this was done in partnership with FUKNO, who partnered with the creative brand to take on the Asian market. We're also not sure if these are officially licensed products or what their availability will be. Take a look at the gallery and let us know what you think!
