A new Japanese brand Kenelephant will soon be launching their pop-up shop called Engimono Department Store. Their backstory is that Engimono is a fictional store that promotes good luck and has somehow entered into the real world. Contributors to the brand's line of sofubi include Shoko Nakazawa, Uamou, and of course T9G, whose mystical lucky cat is pictured above. I'm loving the bizzare take on the Maneki Neko theme, especially the transparent marble.
