Wooden Polepole Animals by T-Lab

Sometimes the world just doesn't make sense. Like when these adorable, hand-carved, hand-painted animals from Japan cost only $13. T-Lab creates these small wooden sculptures as part of a series called Polepole Animals. "Polepole" is Swahili for "slowly", a reminder that each items is created with love and care. From koalas to corgis, there are tons to collect for yourself, and they also make an awesome gift, even to people who aren't into designer toys. You can grab one or a bunch from JAPANWAVE.
