Kidrobot has just announced their latest collaborative project with pop culture Icon, The Andy Warhol Foundation.
The collection, due for release this summer and fall, will feature both vinyl and plush releases, from blind box creations, to high-end art pieces. Adorned with the iconic work of Warhol, the merging of these two worlds seems only appropriate.
”We are delighted to collaborate with one of the most creative players in the art-toy industry to introduce an unexpected offering of unique Warhol collectibles,” said Michael Dayton Hermann, Director of Licensing at The Andy Warhol Foundation.
The collection will debut to the trade audience this April at the Museum Store Association Show in Atlanta, GA. Collectors can expect to see the debut of the collection this summer at San Diego Comic Con. The first wave of the collection will release in stores and online at Kidrobot.com this August.
