KAWS got plenty of hype last week after teasing a new sculpture paying homage to the Fun Fur demigod of biscuits, Cookie Monster. Contrary to some wishful thinking, this is a straight-up sculpture, standing 8 meters tall, and will not be a mass produced art toy. However, a 20-inch plush version will be available (though limited to 1,000 editions), as will a t-shirt, blanket, umbrella, and tote. As this is a collaboration between the Brooklyn artist and the Hong Kong design agency AllRightsReserved, it may be exclusive to Hong Kong. However, it seems like orders can be placed via Ding Dong Takuhaibin's international online store. Prices aren't available yet, but this being KAWS and all, if you have to ask...
