OK, to be honest, I don't get the hype. Every year, Japanese fashion brand UNDERCOVER teams up with Medicom to produce a new variant of their GILAPPLE light. It's a small, realistic-looking apple with an old-timey car headlight wedged into its core. On the second-hand market, these things - which don't cast much light, by the way - go for up to $200. This year, the GILAPPLE gets a little more practical, though. Presumably joining the standard light is a clock. This version of the GILAPPLE looks to be nearly twice as large and will hopefully by big enough so that the numerals can be read from several feet away. Keep an eye on UNDERCOVER's social accounts for more pricing and release details.
Wednesday, November 9, 2016 - 2:28pmOne of the perks of DCON is that, being in California, it's easier to pick up Japanese designer toys there. While we haven't heard from Itokin Park, we can confirm that Konatsu will have two toys available via Q POP's booth.

Monday, October 31, 2016 - 12:27pmAh, such soothing colors. This might be my favorite Uamou series since the Tengu and Cobalt series, which had an amazing matte finish. These ones, though, feature calming gradients painted by legendary airbrush artist, Goto-san.
