Clutter Gallery [In]Action Figures 6 opening

This weekend saw the opening night of our annual [In]Action Figures (6) show, and an exciting night with the amazing Knights of the Slice! What a celebration!! Participating artists and collectors traveled from far and wide to pack out the Gallery, and it was wall to wall, buzzing with excitement!

[In]Action Figures, now in its 6th year is our exhibition dedicated to the action figures (& other retro toys). Intended to elevate the art of action figures/bootlegs and other resin toys, this exhibit recalls the heyday of the Action Figure format – the 1970's and 80's. Pieces are always unique but often throw back to the OG licenses, Star Wars, G.I. Joe, M.U.S.C.L.E., He-Man/Masters of the Universe, and Mad Balls etc.

This year was no disappointment! The opening was packed with amazing bootlegs, original resin, one-offs, exclusives, and micro-runs, that blew the mind of everyone in attendance! From He-man reskinned as a Thundercat, to the Beach Concert Star that everyone needs, the commentary varied from comedic to satirical.

One of our favorite aspects of this show is always the artist support. Artists travel from all corners to come together for one night, to celebrate the art and each other. It's rare, it's awesome, and we really appreciate that it happens. In attendance this year was; DLL Customs, Trashbury Toys, Junk Fed, Sucklord, Agent Wednesday, Brent Nolasco, Dollar Slice Bootlegs, Erik Jacobus, Freshtoast, Meg Spectre, Omni-rez, Tone Tank, Kjelshus Collins, Nick C. Kirk, Ryan Snapp and probably some more that we missed.

Thank you to all of the artists for working so hard, and to everyone who made the trip out to the opening in order to make this night so special!

The exhibit will be on display until March 2nd, at Clutter Gallery, 163 Main Street, Beacon, NY, 12508.
