Shing Yin Khor, also known by the artist pseudonym Sawdust Bear, will be present at Small Press Table P-16 of the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), offering a wide variety of her hand-crafted wares to fans old & new. Khor, currently up for the Designer Toy Award for Break-through Artist, will be offering items to satisfy everyone regardless of their wallet-size⦠including free sketches. Her magnificent array of items include a bevy of Larms, a fantastical hand-crafted creatures of Khor's own design; she'll have several Candy Larms in a couple of colors ($50 each), transparent Ghost Larms ($75 each), the Mayalan Rainforest Larms ($100 each), and completely customized one-off Shroom Larms ($125 each, pictured below).
Khor will also bring with her some $20 Woodblock Paintings, which are a convention-only standard at her booths, as well as a multitude of completely one-of-a-kind hand-sculpted Monster Pins ($20 each, pictured below).
Her booth will also feature some of the original and unique sculptures of critters she's become known for: the Scaleybug ($175, work-in-progress picture below), the Fiji Mermaids ($150), the Stack of Suckerfeets ($200), and insanely popular Hiveblob with Bleakberries ($250).
