Sean Avery is known as a writer-illustrator of children's picture books, but has recently ventured out into sculpting. Something that caught my eye was that Sean uses recycled materials to sculpt, rather then using materials harmful to the environment, which i find admirable.
"My sculptures are all constructed with recycled materials â old CDs, computer hard drives etc, so I classify my work as "sustainable art". They're a lot of fun to make, but they take an extremely long time to finish, so I don't do a lot of them."
Check out Sean's online Gallery HERE to see more of his awesome work.
