Man what is up with all these great people and heroes of mine kicking the bucket? Ron and the rest of the Stooges has a massive impact on me when I was growing up and discovered this thing called "punk". It was Ron's scuzzy guitar matched with the Stooges pounding beats and Iggy's screaming that really hit home more than many of their contemporaries and I'd still rate them as one of the best live acts I've ever seen. RIP sir.
