Whatever your opinions of the new TRON film and Daft Punks score for it (personally I loved both*) it was always obvious that there would be an incredible amount of merchandise that came along when the film was released. We've seen a plethora of Shoes, Clothes and Sunglasses as well as one Motorcycle custom shop that was planning to make 12 real custom lighcycles for the bargain price od $38,000 a time!!!

Daft Punks cameo in the film is immortalised in this new edition of the classic Medicom Be@rbricks. This pair of 400% bears will be released on January 8th 2011 for Y13,440 around $160.

* Yeah i've heard so many people slagging off the TRON film, but you can't deny that its visually impressive and stunning to behold! People seem to forget that the first TRON film didn't exactly have an amazing storyline either. If you were expecting an Oscar worthy storyline, then you were always gonna be sadly mistaken. I was just glad it didn't get overly bogged down in its own mythology, a la The Matrix :P

OK, to be honest, I don't get the hype. Every year, Japanese fashion brand UNDERCOVER teams up with Medicom to produce a new variant of their GILAPPLE light. It's a small, realistic-looking apple with an old-timey car headlight wedged into its core.
