Check out this outstanding custom from Walter Jacott aka Chauskoskis (I will never spell that right first time!). Walter is a supremely talented customiser & sculptor from Mexico - in fact he was the sculptor behind the realisation of Jeff Lamms Greasebat figure. This time round it's a custom of Coarse Toys JAWS figure, turning the figure into the mexican wrestler 'Demon'...

From personal experience I know how tough it is to do a custom that retains the feel of the original figure and capitalises on it. Even more so to make something with a finish that looks like it's not even a custom, just an exceptionally rare production figure and this certainly has that feel to it. I think with a base figure for a custom that is as expensive as a Coarse toys figure you owe it to produce a custom that will be worthy of its eventual price tag, and thats why most JAWS customs, like KAWS customs, will end up being commisioned pieces from collectors with the pockets to afford them.

A superb custom, possibly the finest looking i've seen in a while. Can't wait to see more this year from Chauskoskis (spelt it right first time then!)

I don't think I need to explain why Coarse Toys have garnered a cult following. And the German duo's illustrations are just as alluring as their toys.

Missed out on coarse toys' first cancan release? Well follow your nose to a brand new "ignited" colorway. Fans of the brand will know that the "ignited" moniker means that this release is cast in vibrant glow-in-the-dark vinyl.
