The team here at Clutter has put together a quick "how to guide" to make it easier for you to enjoy & win at the Designer Toy Run! Enjoy!

First up The run has 3 levels of game play; Global run which means you can collect toys anywhere in the world, allowing users to play who aren't in the cities with the specific runs. City specific runs to collect some awesome goodies and also Location specific hunts which have super hot toys.

For those who have downloaded the app for the very first time, you are prompted to provide the following information- Name, email address, year of birth. The username that you type in will appear exactly as is on the leaderboard. More important than the username is the email address where you can be reached if you win!!

After signing up and creating your username/password, you will be guided to the homescrene which contains Featured, Runs, Favs, Wins, More tab.

If you go to the Featured tab, you will see GoldRun's current global campaigns that include Ford, The Smurfs, Bad Teacher, and the Global Designer Toy Run (which anyone worldwide can play)

If you select the Runs tab, you will see more options (runs) within your vicinity. So, if you are in San Francisco you will be able to access the SF Run, Global Designer Toy Run + all those other global campaigns.  Note that someone in SF cannot access NY, Chicago, London toy Runs and vice versa. Also, if you happen to be in a hot zone (3 random spots in the city that have approx 1 mile radius) you can access the Location-specific Hunts

When you are close to a hot spot, but not quite there yet, the app will say something like 2 miles away - meaning you are 2 miles away from one of the 3 hot zones, helping you narrow down your search! When you get even closer it will change to say 'Close'.

Once the run changes from white to blue, then you are in range to capture that virtual toy and it will say GO!

if you click on an inactive white run, you can see how close you are to the relative hot zone by viewing the map image with the pin drops - showing a one mile radius around the drop.

Click the view in range button on this screen to continue! Once the toy you are n range of pops up you can shrink and move the image to capture and pose with it.

After the virtual toy is "captured", there is ability to press retake, share, or next. I pressed the next button...

You can then SWIPE to view your name on the leaderboard and see how many more points you need to be #1!

Global run captures will receive 105 points after every shared picture. City (110 pts), Location (125 pts)

After leaderboard image, users can swipe to another screen:

Users can then swipe to the picture where there is the option to press SHARE- leading you to Facebook, Twitter, email, tumblr.

This is what it looks like on Twitter. Copy says "I captured a virtual toy thru GoldRun X Clutter Magazine #DesignerToyRun ! D/L GoldRun http://bit.ly/cedb4j to play!"

This is what it looks like on Facebook

All the pictures are saved on your iPhone's photo album so there is the option to mobile upload and share pics to social media channels manually.

Have fun and win some toys... If you have any comments or problems, drop us an email to info@cluttermagazine.com and will pass them along.
